NEURO2022 Junior Investigator Poster Award

NEURO2022 was held in Okinawa, Japan from June 30 to July 3, 2022. Mr. Yu Yoshino, a first-year master’s student under the supervision of Prof. Katori, received the Junior Investigator Poster Award.

This research verified the short-term memory capacity of a reinforcement learning based on reservoir computing, and demonstrated its autonomous mobility performance in a partially observable Markov decision process (POMDP) environment. The results of this research are expected to be used as a next-generation autonomous mobile robot model and to be developed as a brain information processing model.
